A for hardening tool steel and selectively carburised steel.
Also used for preparing initial melts of Hard Temp H. The
salt can be used for preheating hot die steel and high speed
steel prior to hardening. Working

with Hard Temp E 452). |

it is also used with 1 - 10% sodium cyanide as a scale free
